Alan Packer Photography was established in 1981 and has built a reputation for high-quality photography at reasonable prices, along with the friendly and approachable manner in which they are taken. Some of the companies and organisations Alan has had the pleasure of working for over the years are The Cornish Times, Appleby Westward (Spar distributor), Spar, The Saltash Observer, Bond Pearce Solicitors and several other solicitor firms, Arjo Wiggins, Saltash Town Council, RNLI, Cornwall Air Ambulance and Plumbase amongst others. He has also been entrusted with photographing the following proms and events: Saltash College Hair Shows, Coombe Deane School, John Kitto, Saltash.net Community School, Devonport High School for Girls, Eggbuckland Community College, Liskeard School and Community College. Such organisations expect the highest quality and professionalism which Alan is able to deliver to each and every customer. Alan believes in continuous improvement and so over the 28 years that he has established himself as a professional photographer, he has introduced new techniques, equipment and services so that the client can be assured they are paying for the best. Recently, Alan has been developing his web and digital skills, which are passed onto the customer through personal web spaces and CD-ROMs. In recent years Alan's daughter, Laura, has become involved in the development of the business and now accompanies Alan as a second photographer at weddings which allows us to offer you more choice and a wider selection of photographs. Laura joined the business in 2003 after gaining an upper class degree in business and has a background in marketing with experience of assisting at fashion shoots and working in public relations events photography. Laura loves meeting with brides, discussing ideas and determining what they're looking for so please don't hesitate to ask any questions or for certain shots to be taken, we're only too happy to help. Though Alan is able to guide you to get the best out of your wedding photography, we don't like to completely dictate your photography needs and are always ready to listen to your ideas. Alan doesn't believe in taking over but in working with you to get the best photos possible, in the friendliest manner-after all, smiles are all important!
